GetagateWarranty Policies

At Metallic, we're dedicated to providing innovative and user-friendly metal products, including gates, fences, hinges, and remote controls. Our focus is on making quality access solutions accessible to all.

1. Warranty

 

1.1 [Metallic GETAGATE] provides a back to supplier/manufacture warranty for its gate products ("Products") sold in New Zealand.

 

1.2 This warranty is valid only for Products purchased from authorized dealers and resellers located within New Zealand.

 



2. Warranty Period

2.1 [Metallic GETAGATE] offers a 2 Years Warranty minimum for Centurion, BFT products from Metallic Getagate (1+1+1 for Merlin openers).

​

10 Years Warranty for any gates, fences products.

​

Other general Products warranty is [1 years] from the date of purchase (the "Warranty Period") unless other stated.



 

3. Warranty Claims
 

3.1 To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide proof of purchase, including the purchase date and location.

3.2 Warranty claims can be made by contacting our After-sale Customer Support team or visiting our website at [www.metallic.co.nz].

4. Warranty Coverage

 

4.1 During the Warranty Period, Company will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace defective Products, free of charge.

 

4.2 This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:

 

a. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.

 

b. Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to cosmetic damages, scratches, or minor dents.

 

c. Damage resulting from acts of nature, such as lightning, flooding, or earthquakes.

 

d. Damage to accessories or components not manufactured by Company.

5. Warranty Process

5.1 To initiate a warranty claim, the customer can:

​

a. Contact our After-sale Customer Support team.

​

b. Provide all necessary information, including any reference number and a detailed description of the issue.

​

c. Follow the instructions provided by our Customer Support team for return or repair.



 

6. Limitations of Liability
 

6.1 To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Company's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective Product.

6.2 Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its Products.

7. Governing Law

7.1 This warranty is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

8. Changes to Warranty Policy

 

8.1 Company reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at its discretion. Customers will be notified of any changes.
